As a third year student, you would think that I would have mastered this time of year with strategies and a plan of attack; unfortunately none of the above are true. Maybe the best advice that I was once told was to take one day at a time and make sure you write everything down. When you write everything down, not only do you get the relief of not having to hold that thought in the brain any longer, but you also get the gratification of crossing the heck out of it when it is complete; all the hard work becomes worth it when things get checked off.
For now, with the final destination in sight, I wish you all good luck on not only your Final Capstone Papers but also your other classes.
Oh I can completely relate to checking things off! Often I will add little random things that I did to my to-do list so that I can cross them off too. :)
ReplyDeleteWritng things down so helps. But I find more often not if I keep a running list in my brain that I can keep better track and feel more satisfaction when it is done.
ReplyDeleteI wish that now by third year I would have figured out a better way of dealing with all my stress. But to be perfectly honest, if I just do it, just start on something, things start getting done and once progress is made you feel much more encouraged about the rest.
