Most teachers will instruct their students to start at the beginning. While that may seem like a cliche, there's much truth to that statement. Especially for writers and researchers. Any successful essay starts with a well-conceived idea and a thought-out plan.
Through this course (and blog), we'll discover what makes for good writing and research, and what qualifies as bad writing and research. Often the line between the two may seem narrow--but there is a line.
As well, this blog will give you the opportunity to debate, discuss and vent about writing and research in communications--and to comment on course readings and assignments.
Why a blog? It gives you access to posts from your peers. It gives you ample space to write. It gives you a place to contribute to community. And it gives you a creative outlet.
So use this resource to build and strengthen your writing.
