Peer Review.

Murry's chapters really opened my eyes to the fact that I cant just be complaisant with my own writing. This has made it clear that I need a peer editor or a review. It is very ignorant of me to think that my first draft with my own editing is "good enough" for a successful final draft. Murry states "to make the transition from private to public writing, we need to share our writing in process, to receive the response of readers when we still make changes in our draft." This is very essential for me to understand so I can actually make that transition. When we did this in class with our personal essay it really helped me put my writing into a completely different perspective. It allowed me to step outside my own writing and allow someone else take a look and either fix or question what is being written. The only problem now is finding good test readers.
